Universal pigment concentrate

Universal colorant based on phthalocyanine blue PB 15:4 and TEGO® Dispers 656

The universal colorant based on HELIOGEN® Blue L 7101 F achieved by this formulation is water-based and can be used for tinting of water-based base paints and solvent-based alkyd paints. The colorant can even be used for facade coatings and paints with higher pH-values, especially in POS. Pigment loading and additive dosage are developed for grinding purposes. Pigment loading and rheology might need to be adjusted for use in a dispenser.

Preparation

Prepare a premix from positions 1 - 5 and add while stirring.

Add component 6 while stirring.

Grind with appropriate equipment until stable color strength has been reached.

Adjust pH to 8.5.
