Waterborne pigment concentrate

Resin-containing pigment concentrate based on phthalocyanine blue PB 15:2, TEGO® Variplus DS 50 and TEGO® Dispers 755 W

The water-based pigment concentrate based on HELIOGEN® Blue L 6875 F achieved by this formulation contains a PU resin and can be used for tinting of water-based coatings. The colorant has a low influence on water resistance and can even increase the hardness. It can be used for facade coatings with beading effect, industrial coatings and even automotive coatings. Pigment loading and additive dosage are developed for grinding purposes. Because of its fast drying, the pigment concentrate cannot be dosed by a dispenser.

Preparation

Prepare a premix from positions 1 - 5 and add while stirring.

Add component 6 while stirring.

Grind with appropriate equipment until stable color strength has been reached.

Adjust pH to 8.5.
